Parachlorobenzotrifluoride (PCBTF) is a colorless liquid with a distinct aromatic odor. It is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of dyes, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, insecticides, and herbicides. As a solvent it is primarily used in paint and coatings formulations. PCBTF has a medium boiling point with good solvency and is both Non-HAP and VOC-exempt.
